The Griffin pub:

A Short Story.

With the pub doors opening 26 years ago, there have been a few key factors in proving that a “hard to find pub” in small-town Bracebridge can not only succeed, but thrive.

Preceding new owner, Ben Elling, the pub was owned and operated from 2008-2024 with the ideals of great craft beer, local food and live music. And Ben intends to continue down the path that was set before him.

The Pub is a home. It’s been home to a lot of great staff and patrons. The food is comforting, the laughter is infection, and the beer… it’s all about the craft beer. The pub walls have seen weddings and proposals. There have been staff fall in love with patrons, and plenty of the reverse. And there has always been a great music scene!

With a few changes coming, and a small facelift, the pub will be operating in similar style throughout the summer, with live music Wednesday-Saturday evenings, with great craft beer and homemade, local food.
